class=\"p1\">The <span class=\"s1\"><b>Circle of Forgiveness<\/b><\/span> is an invitation to participate in a collective experience centered on forgiveness, in a caring and respectful setting. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cerclesdepardon.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Founded in 2012 by <span class=\"s1\"><b>Olivier Clerc<\/b><\/span><\/a>, the Forgiveness Circles are now developed and promoted by the Association Pardon International (API).  <\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">This approach suggests viewing forgiveness first and foremost as <span class=\"s1\"><b>a process to be experienced<\/b><\/span>. Through a transpersonal ritual experienced in a group setting, everyone is invited to forgive others as well as themselves\u2014even when the people involved are not present.   <\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The goal is to gradually let go of certain hurts and free ourselves from feelings such as resentment, sadness, or hatred that may continue to weigh on our lives and relationships.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d093b7f elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"d093b7f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Forgiving doesn't mean accepting everything<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9620fc7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9620fc7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"p1\">One of the distinctive features of this approach is that it offers a different understanding of forgiveness.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Forgiveness does not mean forgetting, excusing, or condoning what happened. Nor does it necessarily imply reconciling with the other person. <\/b>  The Forgiveness Circles approach thus combines the path to inner peace with discernment and the ability to continue setting appropriate boundaries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Furthermore, there is no need to publicly discuss the personal situations or wounds that led to one\u2019s decision to participate: the flyer for the Circle event held at Village Mosa\u00efque specifies that the process can be experienced <span class=\"s1\"><b>without having to discuss one\u2019s personal issues or wounds in front of
